On September 28, 2026, the first training of the "NextGen Entrepreneurs - Mentoring and Financing Program for Young People" program took place, carried out by the Tirana Liberal Institute "PASHKO", with the support of the Albanian Besa Capital Foundation (ABC).
With the theme “From problem to validated idea”, the training focused on the first steps of developing a business idea: identifying a real problem, understanding customer needs and testing the proposed solution. Participants were guided to examine their ideas starting from the people who will use the product or service and the way they solve the problem today.
Through practical exercises and discussions, the participants covered defining the target customer, formulating the problem, and evaluating possible alternatives. Attention was also paid to distinguishing between facts and assumptions, as well as preparing questions for interviews with potential customers. These interviews will help participants gather information and understand what to keep or change in their ideas.
This session marked the start of the program's training and mentoring cycle. In future meetings, work will continue on building the business model, marketing, financial planning, and preparing the final presentation of the ideas.
