During the implementation of the project "Safe Steps - Summer Program for Improving the Socio-Economic Status of Children in Need in the Municipality of Elbasan", 30 children from grades IV–V had the opportunity to engage in educational, social and supportive activities, turning the summer into a space to learn, develop skills and strengthen self-confidence.
The results we achieved together:
- 30 children were involved in the educational and social activities of the program.
- 85% increase in the improvement of children's knowledge in mathematics and language, reflecting the impact of continuous support in the learning process.
- All 30 children continue in the 2026–2027 academic year, an important step towards continuing their education and reducing the risk of school dropout.
- 30 families were involved in informational and social activities, raising awareness about the importance of education and support for children.
- 11 families were referred to benefit from social services and employment support, creating bridges to opportunities and better socio-economic integration.
Every result is a step forward. Every child who learns, continues school, and believes in their own abilities is a step towards a more secure future.
“"Safe Steps" proves that supporting children and families, through education, information, and social inclusion, can bring tangible change to the community.
