ABC Foundation announces the opening of the Call for Applications under the Grant Program on:
"Promoting projects that combine economic development with environmental and cultural heritage preservation".
Albania carries an extraordinary natural and cultural wealth, which constitutes an important potential for local economic development. In this context, this grant program aims to support projects that combine economic development with environmental and cultural heritage preservation, promoting a sustainable, responsible and long-term approach to local development.
The program aims to:

- Promoting economic activities that respect the environment and contribute to the conservation of natural resources;

- Supporting initiatives that value, preserve and promote cultural and historical heritage;

- Promoting the active involvement of local communities in projects that create employment and income, without damaging the environment;

- Developing innovative strategies that combine tourism, crafts, sustainable agriculture and local culture.
Eligible to apply to this call are Non-Governmental Organizations and associations operating in the field of economic development, environment and culture; businesses and community initiatives aiming at innovative projects for sustainable development; Partnerships between local institutions, communities and economic actors, for projects with broad and measurable impact.
Financial support for the development of agritourism and local tourism represents not only an economic investment, but also an investment in preserving the environment, cultural heritage and strengthening local communities. Grant programs play a key role in the implementation of sustainable, innovative projects with a positive impact on the development of rural areas of Albania.
The Fund Limit for this call is 600,000 Lekë, with an implementation duration of 3-4 months.
