Within the framework of the project “Safe Steps – Summer Program for Improving the Socio-Economic Status of Children in Need in the Municipality of Elbasan”, meetings with parents have constituted an important component of the intervention, with a focus on strengthening family support and promoting children's well-being and development.
During the months of July and August 2026, meetings were held with parents, where the importance of education, regular school attendance and the role of the family in supporting children during the learning process were discussed. These meetings created spaces for communication and interaction with families, encouraging their greater engagement in the education and development of children.
Special attention was also paid to individual meetings with families. Through these meetings, the aim was to identify and address the specific needs of families, as well as to inform them about opportunities and social services that can contribute to improving their socio-economic situation.
The project's approach emphasizes the importance of integrated support for children, where family, school, and support services collaborate to create the most favorable environment for their education, inclusion, and development.
ABC Foundation supports initiatives that aim to empower children and families in need, promote social inclusion and create better opportunities for their development.
