DOCUMENTATION AND PROPOSAL

To draft the proposal, the applicant will use the Model Application Form, which you can get to the information office of ABC Foundation or download it from the Foundation's website  (click for the application form). 

The Grant Application  should include all necessary information on the project and the applicant, so that the Selection Commission can undertake a thorough examination and a better decision related to the applicant’s proposal. 

The applicant’s proposal, according to the application form, should include:

  • Description of proposed project
  • Current situation related to the proposed issue and the applicant’s motivation
  • Description of the specific goals and objectives, ways to achieve them
  • Description of specific activities, schedule for their implementation
  • Description of expected results and the way to measure them
  • Project implementation area 
  • Beneficiaries, partners and coordination
  • Project monitoring and evaluation
  • Required budget, other potential donors in the project
  • Previous projects or initiatives implemented; CV/Profile of the organization/entity, experiences with other donors
  • Governance of the organization/entity, management structures

 

The application should be associated with some documents  

LIST OF SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED BY APPLICANTS:

  • Completed Application Form (sent by e-mail, in word format);
  • Curriculum Vitae (CVs) of key persons included in the intended project;
  • Board of directors/evaluators/advisory commissions: Complete list of board members;
  • Photocopy of the organization’s registration document (Deed of Establishment), the organization’s Statute and the Court’s Decision for the registration of the NGO;
  • Photocopy of the organization’s/entity’s legal acts:
For entities and Non-Profit Organizations

- Historical extract (Business), issued by the National Business Center, as close as possible to the date of submission of the documentation (for commercial entities);

- Certificate from the register of non-profit organizations at the Tirana District Court (no later than 2 months);

- Registration certificate with NIPT/NUIS issued by the Tax Authorities/ National Business Center;

- Identification Document (ID) of the company administrator;

- Extract of the data registered in the Register of Beneficial Owners;

- Judicial Records Certificate for the entity and the administrator;

- Prosecution Office Certificate for the entity and the administrator;

- Criminal Records Certificate issued by the General Directorate of Prisons for the entity and the administrator;

- Certificate of enforcement obligations for the entity and the administrator;

- Certificate of Status for non-profit organizations issued by the General Directorate of Taxes;

- Certificate for payment of liabilities issued by the General Directorate of Taxes.

  • Confirmation of organization's bank account;
  • Confirmation of project co-financing by the co-donor (if any);
  • Annual budget of the organization, most recent Financial Statements and Financial Statements certified by the auditing company if available;
  • Minimum of two letters of reference for the entity/organization and the submitted project (can be taken from NGO partners and previous donors, but not from staff or selection commission members of ABC Foundation and the applicant organization, no older than two calendar years);
  • Supporting documents: Any other information such as informative leaflets or reports that help the program staff to obtain more information about the applicant.
