Call for Project Proposals: Improving the Socio-Economic Status of Children in Need

ABC Foundation announces the opening of the Call for Applications under the Grant Program on:

 “Improving the socio-economic status of children in need.”

In Albania, many children face economic, social, and educational difficulties, which directly affect their development and opportunities for a better life. In line with its strategy and objectives to improve the socio-economic conditions of vulnerable groups, the ABC Foundation is launching this initiative to address the needs of children in difficult circumstances.

Specific projects may be implemented in particular areas aiming to:

• Identify typical cases of children in need;
• Assess basic needs for social and psychological support and essential living items;
• Provide the necessary assistance to improve their social status;
• Coordinate with local structures and social workers for effective implementation.

This grant program aims to create real opportunities for children in need, supporting them economically, educationally, and socially, and contributing to the creation of a more just and inclusive society. The program may be implemented in cooperation with Non-governmental organizations and associations working directly with children in need, educational and social institutions offering concrete projects to improve children's living conditions, partnerships between local institutions, organizations, and communities for innovative and sustainable projects.

The maximum fund available for this call is 800,000 ALL, with an implementation period of 3–4 months.
