The implementation of the "Safe Steps" project begins in the Municipality of Elbasan

Egyptian and Roma Youth Movement (LRER) has started the implementation of the project “Safe Steps – Summer Program for Improving the Socio-Economic Status of Children in Need in the Municipality of Elbasan”, with the financial support of Albanian Besa Capital Foundation.

The project aims to support 30 children from grades IV–V through educational and social activities, with a focus on improving reading, writing and math skills, increasing motivation to continue education and reducing the risk of school dropout.

Through the summer program, children will have the opportunity to participate in educational, creative, sports and entertainment activities, which aim to contribute to the development of their skills and strengthen social inclusion.

The project also envisages the involvement of families, with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of education and strengthening support for children and their families.

Through this initiative, it aims to create more opportunities for children in need and contribute to building an environment that supports their education, development and social inclusion.
