5. CALL FOR PROJECT - PROPOSAL: Improving the social status of vulnerable children: orphans, disabled, trafficked, etc., in collaboration with local structures and specialized ones (CLOSED)
It is estimated that one in three children is currently vulnerable and in disfavoring situation. ABC Foundation retakes this initiative in dealing with this situation and demands for more attention to children, in accordance with the national strategy for their protection. The focus will be orphans, disabled and trafficked children, etc. The program requires coordination of actions with local structures, social centers or those of civil society, social workers specialized for children, etc. Activities can be oriented, but not limited to:
- Identification of cases of vulnerable children in community, assessment of their needs for social and psychological support, basic means of living, etc; provision of this support with the necessary assistance;
- Growth of the educational level, individual skills, socialization and involvement of children in the community, etc.
