ABC FOUNDATION invites interested entities to submit project proposals on:

“Financial support for female entrepreneurship, oriented towards Social Business, to improve their socio-economic status”

ABC Foundation, through this grant program, aims to improve the socio-economic status of women, through the development of female entrepreneurship, but oriented towards social business.

ABC Foundation already has experience in promoting female entrepreneurship and social business, but this call aims to harmonize and integrate the characteristics of both aspects together. The initiatives of interested entities to develop a female social business can be oriented, but not limited to:

• Establish a new social business, or transforming existing initiatives into genuine social businesses, by addressing a social problem through the mechanism of entrepreneurship;
• The activity fields of social businesses can be: handicrafts, agricultural products, tourism, environment, services, etc., and can be developed in different areas for groups of women in need.

The program can cooperate and coordinate with public, local structures and civil society, representatives of interest groups on the socio-economic issues of Albanian women. Such are Ministry of Health and Social Protection, Ministry of State for Entrepreneurship and Business Climate, local or national women's organizations, etc. In any case, women/girls should play the main role as implementers and beneficiaries.

Please note that the Fund Limit for this call is 700,000 ALL, with an implementation period of 3-4 months.
