The last week of the summer camp, within the framework of the project “Safe Steps – Summer Program for Improving the Socio-Economic Status of Children in Need in the Municipality of Elbasan”, was accompanied by various educational, social and artistic activities, creating beautiful moments and opportunities for children to express their skills and talents.
One of the most special moments of this week was artistic activity prepared and carried out by the children themselves, who performed songs, dances, poems, pieces with musical instruments and other artistic performances. Beyond the entertainment aspect, this activity gave the children the opportunity to showcase their talents, develop creativity, gain more self-confidence and feel appreciated for their efforts and commitment.
On September 4, 2026, the camp concluded with a special ceremony of appreciation and support for the participating children. In this context, the award ceremony was held evaluation certificates, where, in addition to the project implementation team, a representative from Albanian Besa Capital Foundation (ABC), together with representatives of “Abdyl Paralloi” School” and parents of participating children.
The presence of these actors at the closing ceremony conveyed an important message about the value of cooperation between the implementing organization, the school, families, and actors who support initiatives in the function of education and social inclusion of children.
Certificates were presented to the children in appreciation for their commitment, dedication and participation during the summer camp. This moment served as a symbolic appreciation for their efforts and the steps they have taken during the program towards education, increased self-confidence, and involvement in joint activities.
On the same day, it was also carried out distribution of school supplies, with the aim of supporting children in continuing the learning process and preparing them for the new school year.
For the ABC Foundation, supporting children and families in need is part of the commitment to promote social inclusion and create better opportunities for development. The project “Safe Steps” is an important example of supporting initiatives that focus on children, their development, and creating opportunities for a better future.
“Safe Steps” was more than a summer camp. Through the activities developed, the children had the opportunity to learn, collaborate, express themselves, develop their skills, and gain more self-confidence.
